A cafe with style, Episode #3

Cozy? Check.  Picturesque? Check.  Classy? Check.
Combining all three elements in a sophisticated manner, Episode #3 is a cafe located at a bystreet in Gangnam.
Now I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I'm one of those people who prefer retail coffee shops like Starbucks over small coffee shops. It's more like I never really gave small coffee shops a chance, because I've become so accustomed to the Starbucks coffees. I like how I know the price, know exactly what to expect, and how I can get it pretty much anywhere.
But I think cafe Episode #3 changed my mind about that. The fact that I didn't know what to expect actually made it all the more better. This cafe had several small "rooms" for separate parties on the first floor and the normal organized table/chair setting on the second floor. I loved how each room had a different interior design-well, if you can call it interior design.
For example, the room my friend Ji hyun and I went into was covered with doodles by previous visitors. The room next to ours had letters pinned all over the walls. Everything was just so quirky and cute.
And the coffee? It was delicious :) I got myself a caramel macchiato and got free black coffee refills. Win!

Birthday present for Ji hyun
Birthday present from Ji hyun
Ji hyun is my next door neighbor at our dorm back in Japan, and she also happens to be one of my closest friends. Our personalities are actually pretty opposite of each other and we rarely see each other at school since our group of friends and the classes we take also differ. But what I love about our friendship is that despite all that, we can still talk about everything and maintain our strong bond. She's the person that held me in her arms while I cried, the person I had midnight snacks or midnight walks with, the person that I share my secrets, my dreams and fears, and because of that, she is a very special person to me. Haha I think I just made her sound like my life partner.
Anyway, it's not like we don't have any common interests at all. We both LOVE fashion and food. I think we had a conversation about Häagen-Dazs ice cream for an hour. Really. Our fashion tastes are also slightly different, but I think it helps broaden each others' perspectives in fashion.

Coffee Milk & Sugar! All for free :)

Wow. Talk about dedication.

We decided to doodle ourselves! :)
