It's humid, it's hot, and it's definitely not the best time to be back in Japan, but here I am! I'm finally back in Japan!
And I thought it would be appropriate to do a very Japanese-y post as to celebrate my return.
I went to Yasukuni Shrine (for the first time, actually) to admire some traditional Japanese architecture. Despite the animosity this shrine creates between Korea and Japan, I pushed aside my national identity for a moment and really appreciated this shrine aesthetically. I thought the entrance was beautiful because it seemed like a whole new world behind those wooden doors.
I think my outfit is pretty classy, with my clutch and slightly pointy toe pumps. I also wanted to play around with colors, since it was such a hot and sunny day. I downplayed the colors a little though by wearing a beige cardigan.
